The Club supports each team and will pay for three tournament fees throughout the soccer season (August-July).  Each team has the flexiblity to select which tournaments they want SCSC to pay entry fees.  State Cup entry fee counts as a tournament.  Teams that host an age group and work during the Santa Clara Sporting Invitational Tournament receive free registration as well.

Process to Request Tournament Payment

1. Send an email to Sueli Almeida with the subject line: [Sporting team name]Tournament Reimbursment[event name]
2. Attach completed form Download Tournament Reimbursement Form (word doc)
3. Sueli will mail you the check made payable to the tournament, or you can stop by the Sporting office to pick-up the check

* Please expect a 7-10 day lead time to process your request, so do not wait until the last minute.

The following process must be followed to add an adult to your team roster.  Santa Clara Youth Soccer and Santa Clara Sporting require ALL adults who are working with the teams to follow this approval procedure before they can interact with the kids.

1. All coaches and trainers must be approved by the SC Sporting Coaching Director. Please complete the SC Sporting Form and email to Sueli Almeida at scsporting@sbcglobal.net
2. After approval for coaches and trainers have been given by Sporting (team managers do no need Sporting approval), the next step is for adults to pass a Live Scan test (finger print test with the Santa Clara Sheriff Department). Follow the SCYSL Live Scan procedure
3. Complete the CYSA Team Official Registration & Risk Management Form, and submit the registration to SCYSL Registrar Wendy Amick. Wendy's contact information: 408-248-1663, email: theamicks@comcast.net and address is 3461 Tracy Drive, Santa Clara 95051
4. For teams competing in US Club Soccer sanctioned events, you also need to complete and submit the Adult Risk Management Form to Sueli Almeida.  There is a $15 license fee (pass will last for two years).

After all these steps have been completed, then the adult may interact with youth players.
