Santa Clara Sporting Club and Matteo Studios launched Goals-for-a-Cure during the month of October 2008, to raise awareness and money to fight breast cancer. All Santa Clara Sporting Teams participate in a Goal-A-Thon Fundraiser during the month of October, and the club raised over $130,000 to fight breast cancer between 2008-2012. The funds raised were used to support women who need financial assistance to get a breast screen exam at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. Throughout the month of October when you purchase a Courage bracelet, or a Courage to Shine bracelet, she will donate $11 to Goals for a Cure and Silpada Designs will donate $10 to Living Beyond Breast Cancer for every bracelet sold.
