Unlike other "academy clubs," Santa Clara Sporting is dedicated to helping youth soccer players from all economic backgrounds. Elite youth soccer has become an issue of "access" where elite level soccer particiation is becoming dictated by the financial affordablity by families. At Santa Clara Sporting, we pride ourselves in creating an opportunity for kids to play at the highest level regardless of family economics. We continuously work hard to make the soccer accessable to those dedicated to improving their soccer game and academics.

Championship Caliber Coaches! We have an outstanding coaching staff that has captured National, Regional and State championship titles every year. We are proud and fortunate to have such a qualified and dedicated group of men and women guiding our youth players.

We have that Championship Feeling. Play soccer with a club that has an appetite for success and knows how to push players to acheive their personal best. Just look at the domination at the 2008 Cal-North State Cup when Santa Clara Sporting had a team in every championship boys age group from U15-U19. The club brought home 6 Championship cups and 4 Finalists cups that year.

Our Soccer Philosophy. We’re poud that we succeed at playing soccer the right way, with an emphasis on player skills and a strong focus on teamwork. These primary attributes are optimized in our integrated player development training curriculum.

College Placement. Santa Clara Sporting is committed to developing great soccer players and helping place student athletes in collegiate soccer programs. Players have gone forward to attend school at: Santa Clara University, Stanford, UC Davis, UC San Diego, Oregon State, UNLV, St. Mary’s College, Yale, Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo, San Jose State and more. The followng college coaches are involved coaching teams at Sporting: Cam Rast - Santa Clara Mens head coach, Mike Graczyk - Stanford Mens Assistant Coach, Chris Behler - San Jose State Womens Assistant Coach.

Player Development. Soccer Development is key to our success and when combined with strong academics will open many doors for youth soccer players and their family. Our club is affiliated with the West Ham United Professional English Premier Team and other professional clubs arounfd the world. Sebastian Lletget and Julio Morales are two recent players developed at Santa Clara Sporting into professional soccer players.

Community Support. A prime example of our commnity commitment is our annual "Goals for a Cure" programheld every October. Santa Clara Sporting has raised more than $124,000 since 2008. We also reach out to programs like the Second Harvest Food Bank and Toys for Tots every season.

Elite Competition. At Santa Clara Sporting, you’ll get the opportunity to play against the best, compete yourself against the most skilled players for your age group / class level, and an optimum chance to test your ability as a player. Most find this a rewarding experience that further enhances their ability and aides their overall development.

Exposure. You’ll get noticed at Santa Clara Sporting. We have numerous players involved with Professional Teams, the US National Teams and Olympic Development Teams at different levels. Our teams compete in College Showcase tournaments providing opportunity for all players to be seen.
