Santa Clara Sporting 98B Black Team Led Fund-raising charge in 2010-11

The Santa Clara Sporting '98 Boys Black Team raised $2,054 for Goals for a Cure in 2010!

Join us on Friday, April 1st at 7pm, at the Santa Clara Sporting Bingo Hall for the 2010-11 Goals for a Cure and El Camino Hospital Foundation presentation. Lea Morgan, Development Director Women's Hospital and Michelle Van Zuiden, Executive Director Women's Hospital will both be present when the Santa Clara Sporting '98 Boys Black Team present a $17,282 Goals for a Cure check to El Camino Hospital. The Sporting 98 Boys Black Team led the charge this year and raised $2,054 during the month of October during the annual 2010 Goals for a Cure Campaign. Twenty of the Sporting Teams worked to raise money, and the club raised a total of in 2010. Santa Clara Sporting has now raised more than $55,000 between 2008-2010 to fight breast cancer!

Matteo Studios and the Santa Clara Sporting Club launched Goals-for-a-Cure during the month of October 2008, to raise awareness and money to fight breast cancer.  All Santa Clara Sporting Teams participate in a Goal-A-Thon Fundraiser during the month of October. The funds raised were used to support women who need financial assistance to get a breast screen exam at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. Check-out the Goals-for-a-Cure blog for all the stories and pictures!
